The Role:
Aston Knight Solicitors are a family-friendly specialist personal injury and clinical negligence firm with a clear strategy for future growth and stability.
We are looking for a talented, ambitious and focus-driven personal injury assistant fee earner / legal secretary with strong academics and strong technical skills to compliment our team.
You will be working closely with senior solicitors with a proven track record of high value multi-track complex cases. You will be assisting them in their day-to-day administrative tasks on cases gaining an invaluable exposure to high value interesting cases. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and progress a career in law within an excellent team of strong, confident, senior technical solicitors.
You must be committed to your own development, the development of the firm and a team player. The role will include contributions, as a team, to the marketing and advertising of the firm.
Previous experience advantageous but not essential. Full training provided to enthusiastic and proactive candidates. We will consider all levels of experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Routine telephone calls, letters and emails.
- Managing and assisting senior solicitors with their general administrative tasks
- Creating and maintaining accurate records
- Managing and progressing their cases
Preferred qualifications/skills:
- Strong academics
- Good written and verbal skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong IT Skills
- Team player
- Excellent client care and communication skills are essential.
