Haydock Under 11’s ‘Storm’ started the season as they mean to go on with an impressive 7-1 victory. Aston Knight would like to extend a huge congratulation and ‘well done!” to all the boys who, by all accounts, put in a spirited team performance to secure the win.
The game on Saturday had many ‘firsts’; not only being the teams first game of the season and their first in the newly designed kits, it was their first game since Aston Knight became the proud sponsor of the team. To top off the ‘firsts’, the son of our very own solicitor, Andrew Thompson, scored his first goal for the team securing him the MOTM trophy!
It seems the ‘Aston Knight Difference’ extends way beyond the legal world and we are excited to see what the rest of the season will bring for the boys (silverware hopefully!)
